 Welcome!This community is dedicated to APH's Germany (Ludwig) and America (Alfred), so please have your fanworks center on those two characters in a platonic/romantic/vindictive/whatever relationship--but of course you can have other secondary characters and pairings in your works! You may also post news, discussions, history, sports, etc about Germany AND America; bonus points for giving these posts an APH twist. It is okay to x-post between this community and other ones. AU and non-canon works are also fine, as are threesomes.  How to PostPlease keep any preview images 300x300 pixels or under and PG13. The What Day?Wikisez: A fasnacht, sometimes spelled Fastnacht or Faschnacht, is a fatty doughnut treat served traditionally on Fastnacht Day (Shrove Tuesday), the day before Lent starts. Fasnachts were made as a way to empty the pantry of lard, sugar, fat, and butter, which were traditionally forbidden during Lent. Your mod grew up in a German-American community where we pig out on these (and doughnuts) and truly live up to Fat Tuesday. It's a beautiful thing, I assure. Omnomnomnomnom. |
